Biography:
By training, Thomas Marmefelt is economist and historian, holding a doctorate in economics at Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University, and a master’s in history with a diploma in international studies at Johns Hopkins University as well as an undergraduate degree in the social sciences at the University of Gothenburg. Apart from his native Sweden, he has lived in France, the United States, Italy, and Austria for studies or research, and is currently on a Teaching Sabbatical at the University of Tokyo. His focus on evolutionary economics emerged from his aim to combine history and economics.
